Job Classification: Inside Service Technician

Positions Available: 1
Duties: Provide technical assistance and support to customers
with analysis, diagnosis, and resolution to customer satisfaction. This person
will be the first responder to inbound customer calls to the tech line call
loop. Document all pertinent identification information including, name,
company, machine, model, serial number, nature of problem, time of call, and resolution.
Assist in development of IPs, TSP, technical manuals and service bulletins. Communicate all
engineering, assembly and quality issues learned from customer interactions
through the service manager to be addressed in MRB meetings. Research required
information using available resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
1-2 years in heavy equipment
industry as Service Technician preferred; vocational mechanical preferred.
Other Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written
communication skills; extensive knowledge of Snorkel products; knowledge of
hydraulic and electrical systems; and understanding of parts/service manuals. Bilingual
in Spanish preferred. Proven analytical and problem solving abilities and an aptitude
to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment. Effective
listening skills. Ability to absorb and retain information quickly. Self-motivated
and fast paced personality with serious work ethic. Excellent organizational
skills. Outstanding computer skills required (MS Windows, MS Office), expert
skills in Excel and Access a plus.
