Inside Sales Representative

Servicing contractors is the heartbeat of Southwest Steel Buildings. This position will serve a vital role of growing our contractor base and maintaining a good relationship with our existing network of contractors. This will include taking on house accounts, working through our recruiting process to build more accounts, plus working side by side with other members of the Sales team to accomplish the company’s mission of simplifying the steel building business.

Responsibilities Include:

- Quote building packages for customers using our internal quoting template and 3D design/ estimation software

- Create plate layouts, material lists, and contracts for sold jobs as needed

- Take calls from customers to solve site issues as they arise

- Train customers on how to use our internal design, estimation, and ordering systems to grow their business

- Work & communicate with other members of the Sales team to streamline processes and provide value to the customer

- Scout and recruit contractors to add to existing customer base

- Make daily cold calls to recruit the right type of contractors

- Build your contractor accounts to meet company goals

- Actively participate in the company’s LEAN culture and improvement philosophies

- Professional, respectful, and enthusiastic collaboration with internal teammates

Required Qualifications:

- Experience in construction (preferred)

- Experience calling on potential customers (preferred)

- High interpersonal communication skills

- Experience in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
