A Sales Rep’s top priority is to answer customers’ questions and offer products that fill their needs. A Sales Rep will be answering phone calls, interacting face to face with customers in our retail store and by email.
In a nutshell, you will act as a liaison between our products and our customers, providing product information and answering product questions.
Understanding of building products and construction techniques is helpful. Selling greenhouses is fun, and the customers enjoy the process. Selling polycarbonate panels for building projects is also important. You get to help customers select their products and assure all components necessary are included.
Must be genuinely excited to help customers, patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. A stellar Sales Rep love to talk. Sales Rep’s can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. As a Sales Rep you will be one of the first “faces” of the company a customer sees or hears. That’s why a high level of professionalism is so critical. Problem-solving must come naturally.
This position will also be helping in our Polycarbonate shop area by helping load and unload products
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with customers via emails, over the phone, or face to face.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on product orders.
- Manage customer accounts and maintain their transaction status.
- Draft the necessary component lists, as required by the customer.
- Maintain records of interactions with the customers in an orderly manner
- Coordinate with the internal department to fill orders.
- Maintain a follow up with the customer. Ensure they are satisfied with their purchase.
- Process monetary transactions in a retail environment.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
