Inside Sales Rep - Steel Company

SB Specialty Metals offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, independent individual to work in our Troy, MI facility. This position is responsible for quoting & entering orders for our existing customers and supporting our company’s outside sales team. This position is a great opportunity to get “fast track” training in our constantly changing global environment. The individual must enjoy working in a dynamic fast paced environment and must possess the desire & motivation for career advancement within the Steel Industry. Note this is an exempt position with a guaranteed base pay. Additionally incentive is paid out by performance.

Responsibilities:

· Service existing accounts, quoting and entering orders and checking stock at one of our 5 locations through our computer system.

· Working directly with our customers to help resolve any issues they may have by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by focusing on increasing product knowledge.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

This individual must possess the following qualifications:

· 3+ years customer service preferably in the Industrial sales arena.

· Minimum High School Graduate - Some college in a Business discipline preferred

· Computer Literacy

· Calm under pressure

· Data entry accuracy a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
