Inside Sales Rep- Cleveland, Ohio

Touchdown Business Solutions has partnered with a reputable construction product company in the Cleveland, OH area who is in need of an Inside Sales Representative. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting the sales team in report preparation/distribution, receiving inbound and making outbound calls, and working closely with accounts payable and account receivable departments. The Inside Sales Representative will report directly to the owner with confidential financial information and P&L analysis.

Job Responsibilities-

• Coordinate supply chain logistics including maintaining local inventory levels to meet variable demand, purchasing, warehousing, and shipping needs

• Perform sales administration functions such as A/R and A/P

• Provide logistic and technical support to customers and outside sales team

• Work with all vendors, customer service, sales, and technical departments

• Assist in developing company policies regarding pricing approvals and quotations

• Research industry, end-user and competitive information on new products and market pricing

• Fulfill orders from warehouse to walk up customers

Job Requirements-

• Bachelor's degree required

• 1+ years of experience in any of the following sales channels: Construction, Industrial, Electrical, or Plumbing

• Must have and maintain a safe driving record, a valid driver?s license and required insurance coverage

• Ability to be a self-starter and deliver results with minimal face to face supervision

• Superior communication skills (internal and external) both verbal and written.

• Computer skills (including email etiquette, internet research and Microsoft office)

• Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with professional growth opportunities

• Must have a high energy level, be self-motivated, well organized and possess a strong work ethic.

• Hands on mechanical aptitude preferred

Job Details and Compensation-

• Base $44k annual salary + commission percentage on closed sales

• Office hours are 8am-5pm

• Job location- Cleveland, OH

This is a Temp-Hire position with conversion to permanent employment eligible after a 90 day period.
