What the role entails
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Provide customer support through knowledge of our products and their applications.
- Prepare and send submittal package to Distributor or Direct Buy customer after a Purchase Order has been received.
- Prepare and submit Technical Service Request as needed for correct Bill of Materials after a Purchase Order has been received.
- Research through various lead sources, including subscription services, construction, contractor, government and other internet websites for product opportunities.
- Identify the Architectural/Engineering firms for specific projects then communicate the information to Specification Consultant or Area Sales Manager to secure specifications as needed.
- Assist Architects, Engineers, Designers and Distributors with technical and specification information for ACO products prior to purchase order submission, as needed.
- Prepare and send quotations to contractors and price confirmations to distributors prior to bid dates or as requested.
- Follow up with project, participants to determine when a contract has been awarded to a general contractor or sub-contractor, obtain contractor's name and relevant contact details, and forward to Area Sales Manager for follow up.
- Provide requested and pro-active Inside Sales support to Area Sales Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2-years Inside Sales experience, work experience related in industries: construction, commercial, and/or any sales experience and 1-year business or related certificate from college or technical school is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Transferable skills will be considered.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Access, Excel, databases, and file management. Must be able to create documents and transfer files.
- Professional phone manners.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as simple construction drawings.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
$43,680- $47,840 a year plus commissions
