Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Customer Service activities through strong communication with all involved parties, including Sales, Principles and Customers to ensure customer satisfaction through pre-award, award and post-award activities.
- Assist Outside Sales in pursuit of orders. May assist Inside Sales Reps in troubleshooting orders that require special handling. May act as a resource in resolving customer issues brought to the Department by utilizing established Company processes knowledge and strong skills in negotiating and selling.
- Author and conduct Inside Sales staff performance evaluations on an annual basis to communicate employee performance and establish individual developmental goals. Provide continual feedback throughout the evaluation period on performance and progress toward established developmental goals.
- Promote professional development through one-on-one coaching and coordination of internal or external training as required in meeting individual developmental goals.
- Continually evaluate, improve and maintain work processes and work process tools through identification of sales successes, lessons learned and best practices to implement long term improvements and increase customer satisfaction and dependency.
- Assists the Business Unit Leader in preparation of Management Review presentations and quarterly revenue forecasting for the Team.
- Assists RQ Sales Team members with the implementation of both strategic and tactical sales plans in support of Team / Corporate goals.
- Assists Business Unit Leader with management of Team financial performance through understanding of increased margin opportunities, evaluation of Team processes, and the active management of product backlog and accounts receivable.
- Communicates Team’s activities, performance and appropriate issues to the RQ Business Unit Leader and Outside Sales Manager.
- Communicates to the staff the appropriate information concerning corporate activities and financial
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, personnel production and resource allocation to ensure customer satisfaction and accomplishment of sales goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Knowledge:
- BS/BA degree and five plus years’ sales experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of pump or Rotating Equipment products and services is preferred. Experience within a manufacturer or distributor is ideal.
- Advanced proficiency utilizing MS Office products, as well as familiarity with internal and external reporting tools. (Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, BI reports, etc…)
