Sales Support Manager
Our client’s innovative vent systems, air intake systems and accessories are field proven over the past 20 years. Their proprietary brand of flue gas vent systems is the preferred vent system for condensing heating appliances including furnaces, boilers, and water heaters. They are committed to developing and manufacturing sustainable products for the plumbing, heating, and building products markets worldwide.
Due to tremendous growth they seek a well-qualified Sales Support Manager to help evaluate and streamline their sales delivery processes. The right candidate will have exceptional people management skills for an internal team of about 6 direct reports. In addition this candidate must have successful experience interacting with manufacturers’ reps and their direct customer base.
Experience and Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Over 3 years of experience in a Sales Support Manager role or similar, preferably within the plumbing/HVAC or Manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis with a strong skillset in Excel, data analytics, visualization, and reporting.
- Experience in pricing, profit and loss (P&L) dynamics, and familiarity with sales compensation plans and incentives.
- Strong business acumen and a track record of supporting sales organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with adeptness in building presentations.
- Strategic thinker capable of translating technical requirements/issues into a business context and vice versa.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and strong project management skills.
- CRM experience required; familiarity with MS Dynamics preferred.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
