Are you an Inside Sales Manager with experience in Direct-to-Consumer Sales? Are you an Inside Sales Manager who enjoys hunting and camping? Are you an Inside Sales Manager who wants to join a Fort Wayne based company that is focused on on growing the D2C segment of their outdoor products business? As Inside Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving the execution of strategy for Direct-to-Consumer sales, accelerating consumer engagement through all touchpoints of the sales journey to achieve key KPIs and promote brand value, loyalty, and retention. You will also ensure “over the top” customer service experience across the enterprise. Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing for all product lines, you will have two Sales Engineers and six Sales Assistants reporting to you.

As Inside Sales Manager you will:

· Meet/exceed channel revenue and gross margin goals through the development and execution of a comprehensive sales and customer service strategy

· Ensure standards and protocols of customer service are followed across the enterprise

· Follow all sales guidelines, processes, and procedures to ensure accurate processing and evaluation of sales opportunities.

· Manage, train, and develop Sales Engineers and Sales Assistants. Expand department with 2-3 additional Sales Engineers in 2023

· Review monthly sales results, reporting to management on D2C sales performance, making recommendations when changes are necessary to drive improved results.

· Supply Operations with accurate and timely unit forecasts to allow for adequate inventory to support sales initiatives.

· Identify new opportunities and process enhancements to help drive more traffic and order and efficiency. Support launch of new CRM system.

· Identify, research, and resolve customer inquiries and issues

As Inside Sales Manager your background should include:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of successful experience managing Direct to Consumer sales teams and customer service teams.
  • Advanced level proficiency with CRM, ERP, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word is required.
