Job Description
Our client is a non-automotive company that is rapidly growing. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Account Representative to join their dynamic and energetic team. This role is ideal for an individual with 3+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, sales support or account management in a fast paced manufacturing environment. There is no “sales” or cold calling involved with this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as internal sales team lead to achieve or exceed North American sales goals.
• Work collaboratively and in partnership with Customer Success Specialist.
• Work cross functionally with production, warehouse, tech support, supply chain and accounting.
• Needs to be familiar with all parts and functions of the equipment.
• Coordinate customer needs with colleagues.
• Provide shipping tracking update to customer and assist in resolving any related issues
• Consistent outreach and follow up with existing customers to ensure satisfaction with product and service
• Equipment and Spare Part order entry via email and phone
• Processing of Purchase Orders
• Have a friendly, team-player attitude and strong ability to influence colleagues and customers.
• Possess and maintain a customer centric attitude.
• Pro-actively identify short/medium/long-term issues and escalate when necessary.
• Autonomously suggest improvements, increase efficiency, and challenge the status quo.
• Perform all ad hoc tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Associate degree or equivalent in related field preferred.
• 3+ years of insides sales, Customer Service, sales support or account management.
• Experience in delivering a high level of proactive Customer Service to customers and field-based Account Managers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with CRM software and ERP systems highly preferred.
• Highly organized, and ability to multi-task efficiently and accurately
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen.
• Experience in a fast paced, growing environment preferred.
