Inside Sales Associate (Cannabis)

ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for Inside Sales Associates to join our team! This in-office position (based in Los Angeles) is primarily responsible for customer reorders, and identifying, pitching and closing new revenue opportunities from the portfolio that fit our customers' needs. In addition, this position will coordinate with fulfillment, delivery and finance to ensure a premium level of service for our customers.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE: (QUALIFICATIONS)

• Previous work in an administrative role (minimum of 2 years)
• Able to maintain a high level of responsibility and accountability (You get to take ownership of designated accounts and all issues related to them)
• Experience running a territory of 50-200 accounts while handling a portfolio of leading industry brands strongly preferred
• Hyper-organized and detail-oriented, able to balance and shift between many tasks at once
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, including a patient attitude, a friendly disposition, and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail (this role will require important data entry, so accuracy is critical)
• Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office, Google Drive, and CRM software
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: (ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Maintain regular communication via phone, text, email, etc. with clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
• Use a customer-focused, consultative sales process to educate prospects on what Mammoth products fit their needs
• Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product catalog as well as the latest trends in the cannabis industry
• Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
• Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate
• Monitor the status of deliveries and stay in regular communication with clients, account management, and warehouse fulfillment staff to ensure deadlines are met
• Assist with Accounts Receivable
• Reach out to clients on an as-needed basis to inform them about new products, special delivery schedules, and other important updates
• Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• High school graduate
• Some college or equivalent work experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Clear vision, hearing and speech
• Able to sit and work at a computer for 8+ hours a day
• Able to utilize a phone up for 8+ hours a day
• Adaptable and willing to work in a variety of environments (some environments may experience extreme temperatures from hot to cold)
