We are a team of people helping people. Our independent insurance business is based on the relationships we build within our Team, our clients, potential clients, our community and the companies we work with. As an independent insurance agency, we work for our clients, not one insurance company.
Our hours are Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 5:00 and Friday from 8:00 to 12:00. On rare occasions you may be required to work past 12:00. This position can be hybrid or remote operation.
Job Responsibilities:
Establish new relationships with potential clients and sign them up for insurance.
Work existing book of contact to expand customer data base
Analyze prospective clients current insurance policies and suggest additions or other changes
Prepare and submit applications to carriers for quoting;
Prepare online quotes using carrier quote platforms
Detail oriented data entry into management system
Report the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives
Professional and Personal Skills:
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Articulate and professional voice in person and on the phone.
Proven working experience as a commercial insurance agent
Self-starter, driven, can manage rejection well.
Confident, energetic, enthusiastic with a sense of humor.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Working knowledge of AMS 360 a plus
Loyal, Team Concept, Driven love to compete, Detail Oriented, Great Customer Service, Growth Oriented and Professional.
Experience and Job Requirements:
MUST have one-year sales experience commercial insurance industry.
MUST have current and valid P&C Insurance License.
