Pingman Tools is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to be a key member of the revenue growth team rapidly expanding the latest evolution of PingPlotter. We’re looking for a driven, adaptive, and collaborative person to help our solutions connect more of the world – while having fun with the team along the way. Our brand, PingPlotter, is the internet’s favorite way to communicate the source of internet and network issues. Our current focus is developing and scaling a SaaS product designed to help troubleshoot network connection problems for remote workers and companies.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding PingPlotter's presence in the WFH contact center market and other key industries. Initially, the emphasis of this role will be on business development, with the goal of eventually transitioning to full ownership of the entire sales cycle. In addition to working directly with sales leadership to acquire new logos, you will act as the ear to the ground by providing valuable prospect and customer feedback, market insights, and identifying opportunities based on real-world client interactions. By continuously sharing feedback with the rest of the team, you will influence marketing to effectively communicate PingPlotter's value proposition as well as participate in the feedback loop to the product team.

Responsibilities
- Prospect into multiple organizations via phone, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, social media, and search engines
- Prospecting daily to build and manage lead development pipeline
- Support inbound sales by providing quotes on relevant product lines, process orders, and fulfillment
- Engage with trial users to increase conversions and upgrades
- Articulate the Company's value proposition to decision-makers across multiple industries to assess buying interest. Promote software solutions with various management levels and professionals across technical and business disciplines
- Achieve or exceed goals for evaluations and first meetings on a monthly basis
- Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions
- Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call
- Attend several trade shows a year
- Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company technology – and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers
- Contribute to every component of the critical functions associated with fulfilling the sales cycle (forecasting, activity KPIs, reporting, customer database maintenance and data entry, correspondence, and communications)
Requirements
- 5+ years sales experience
- A proven business development background
- Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solution sets
- Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening, and cold-calling
- Ability to converse with and influence IT organizations
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and databases used in marketing a plus
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management software a plus
- High-level understanding of computer networks and IT a plus
- Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment
- Ability to travel up to 3-6 times a year
- Solid understanding of social media tools and vehicles including LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogs, and monitoring tools
- A hunger to be proactive, resourceful, and take ownership of initiatives to drive results
