Looking for an Inpatient coder who assigns APR/MS DRGs from documentation provided in an Electronic Health Record (EMR) through an encoder after review of the ENTIRE patient chart (for the facility to get paid/reimbursed)
MUST HAVE: (3 Years) Experience. Facility Inpatient Coders (EMR) must have a varied background handling a wide array of specialties, trauma levels, and teaching facility experience.
SPECIALTIES: APR/DRG, Cardiac Surgery, Neurology, OB/GYN, General Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Oncology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Oral Surgery, Psyche/Behavioral Health, Pediatric, Oral Surgery, Transplant, (Not looking for all but someone that is well rounded outside of Gen Med)
SETTINGS: Trauma Level 1, Trauma Level 2. Acute Care, Teaching Hospital,
SYSTEMS: Optum 360, CAC, Cerner, 3M, Epic
MUST HAVE Valid AHIMA or AAPC credential
