Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Are you a leader with a passion for innovation and thought leadership. Can you help define, shape and facilitate the next generation of innovative solutions for customers in the banking industry? We are seeking a seasoned industry professional who can lead a small team of engineers and designers to support the discovery and prototyping of innovative new solutions strategic to key clients and industry. In addition to driving quick moving innovation projects this leader will also work with leadership to design an innovation center of excellence that identifies, evaluates, and validates the elements associated with our future roadmaps.
This individual needs to be grounded in existing consumer behaviors and be able look forward to define trends that will change the fintech landscape before the mass market adopts them. In addition to being able to identify and evaluate these trends, this individual will facilitate the adoption by instructing key members of internal (NCR Atleos) and customer personnel in the deployment of these environments.

Key Areas of Responsibility include:
  • Designing and facilitating the "innovation lab," that incorporates client requirements, customer expectations into a synthesized lab that evaluates next generation operating environments for the banking technology industry.
  • Collaborate, facilitate, and evaluate potential (multiple) solution sets with client and internal teams to select the optimal solution for various markets (e.g. ATM, Branch)
  • Maintain continual awareness of trends that affect the financial/ATM industry and how to leverage them on our clients behalf
  • Manage funding and partnerships necessary to reach prototype
  • Work cross functionally across NCR and working directly with customers showing thought leadership and facilitating fast and effective collaboration leading to quicker prototyping. This includes working with NCR leadership in PS, engineering, architecture, support, and solutions management where appropriate. It also means expanding influence within higher levels of non-IT groups within target customers.
  • Strong communication skills. Requires being able to motivate and deliver complex ideas simply and with confidence. Innovation requires all to be on the same page, and this team will be a continuing landscape of engagement based on what is being worked on, so will require appropriate and simple consistent communication.

Basic Qualifications:
  • BS in Computer Science or engineering; or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years in ATM, Financial systems, and application design
  • 7+ years of experience in the banking tec space
  • Deep understanding of ATM & Branch solutions and customer processes
  • Prior success leading in cross-functional and collaborative environments
  • Highly motivated and tenacious in the pursuit of collective goals

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Successful track record in designing next-generation solutions and environments for the banking tec industry
  • Excellent presentation skills including ability to be the visionary who can paint the picture of next generation solutions
  • Must be a successful self-contributor with strategic opportunities

Job locations can be Atlanta or Frisco (Dallas).
