We are a growing ergonomic consulting firm seeking Injury Prevention specialists to support clients in office, industrial, and healthcare settings. This position has opportunities for flexible scheduling with the work performed at various client locations. Our team of professionals works on amazing projects, and we are looking forward to expanding. We are seeking to fill multiple full-time, part-time, and per diem positions.
The Injury Prevention specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing ergonomics operations for our clients while ensuring technical excellence. This position is responsible for performing Injury Prevention activities, performing ergonomic risk assessments, performing Injury Prevention awareness training, and developing risk and work injury management consulting programs for our clients in healthcare, high tech, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, materials handling, and other industries.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Injury Prevention services and deliverables to clients.
- Create and sustain relationships with clients, consultants, management, and business partners.
- Apply ergonomic standards, guidelines and codes relating to office, healthcare, high-tech and other service industries, manufacturing, and materials handling.
- Use technology to provide state of the art risk assessment and benchmarking tools, both on-site and remotely.
- Determine the adequacy of hazard controls in all areas of coverage/exposure through stakeholder interviews, onsite observations, and loss/incident report review.
- Provide recommendations for solutions as it relates workstation setups, furniture, peripherals, and special equipment.
- Engage in new business development, business expansion and retention business development opportunities with new and existing clients.
Qualifications
- A degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Health & Safety, Human Factors, Nursing, or related degree.
- Certification in ergonomics
- Valid California driver’s license
