Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Injection Mold Maintenance Technician to join our client's team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, repair, and continuous operation of complex Injection Molds, requiring a blend of technical, mechanical, and electrical skills. This role involves performing mold tear down, cleaning, inspection, and preventive maintenance, as well as minor repairs and component replacements. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with tool engineers, mold repair shops, and other team members to ensure optimal tooling performance and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare complicated work assignments involving technical, mechanical, and electrical skills.
- Perform mold tear down, cleaning, and visual inspection of molds and components.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and report findings to tool engineers.
- Clean, lubricate, and make minor repairs or replacements of component parts.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of tools in assigned rack locations.
- Develop and maintain inventory levels of replacement parts with assistance from tool engineering.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the tool breakdown area.
- Assist in mold insert changes and document changeover instructions.
- Interface with tool engineering and mold repair shops on technical matters.
- Support tool engineering in training related procedures and instructions.
- Assist in new mold testing, process development, and tool capability studies
Required Experience & Education:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Injection Mold maintenance, repair, and changeover, or similar tooling/mechanical experience in an industrial setting
Pay: $60-$66K Depending on Experience.
