As an Infusion Therapy Nurse you are responsible for the following main duties and responsibilities:
Will administer IV infusions through IV or PICC line according to physician orders, including starting IVs when necessary.
Will obtain lab draws according to physician orders.
Will administer injections according to physician orders.
Will conduct RN Assessments and Plans of Care for Nurse Next Door and Medicare home health partners.
Will monitor the coordination of multidisciplinary services.
Will train, evaluate, and delegate specific responsibilities to qualified Nurse Next Door personnel.
Will follow up on complaints directly received by patients, as needed.
Will ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and monitored.
Will participate in staff orientation upon request.
Will demonstrate good communication between office personnel and clients.
Will know and abide by all policies and function accordingly.
Will help keep all records up to date, organized, and ready for inspection at any time.
Will be committed to practice safety precautions.
Will maintain a high level of personal grooming in accordance with the dress code.
Will hold all records and information in strict confidence.
Will represent and support Nurse Next Door within the community in a positive manner.
Will perform other duties as requested.
Availability
Flexibility is required
Part time: Up to 12 hours per week
