The Role:

As an Infusion Nurse with Vital Infusions LLC, you will play a crucial role in administering IV infusions, educating patients about their treatments, and ensuring a comfortable and safe therapy experience. This position requires a high level of professionalism, clinical expertise, and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients in various settings.

Responsibilities:

• Administer IV infusions as prescribed, ensuring the highest safety and comfort for patients.
• Assess patient health status, including vital signs and symptom management, before and during the infusion process.
• Educate patients and their families about the infusion process, medication, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Stay current with best practices in infusion therapy and participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct infusion experience with a strong understanding of infusion therapies, including IVIG, biologics, antibiotics, and vitamins.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient locations.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
