We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse who has exceptional customer service skills, is detail oriented, organized, and passionate about the health and well-being of their patients.
Required Qualifications:
*Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing
*1 year of IV infusion related experience
*Registered Nurse with valid Connecticut license
*Experienced in the care of peripheral lines
*Possess strong peripheral IV start skills
*Current valid drivers license and auto insurance
*Current valid Basic CPR by start date
*Up to date vaccinations including COVID-19
*Willingness to travel within the state of Connecticut
Preferred Qualifications:
*Home infusion experience
*Port-a-cath experience
*PICC/ central line care experience
The Home Infusion Registered Nurse is responsible for the positive and effective representation of Home Infusion pharmacy services and is responsible for providing quality, cost effective care for patients requiring intravenous therapy in the home or alternative setting.
Including:
Provision of infusion nursing services in patient homes, and alternative settings, including intravenous, subcutaneous, and other infusion medication administration for Home Infusion pharmacy patients.
Coordination of patient care activities and maintains communication with other disciplines including nursing agency(s), pharmacist and physician; teaches the patient/family about the patient's care needs and disease prevention; (including self-administration when applicable), disease prevention and follows and adheres to infection control measures and standards for home care nursing and IV nursing services.
