SalaryBusy Gastroenterology practice seeking a Part time/PRN experienced nurse, LPN/RN with strong IV skills to join our IV team. Position requires highly skilled and knowledgeable nurse in insertion and monitoring IV's. Experience with Biologic Medications for Crohn's and UC a plus.
- Must be proficient in starting and maintaining peripheral IV access according to physician orders.
- Complete knowledge of infusion therapy
- Evaluate any problems that may affect the delivery of IV fluids/Medications.
- Follow all policy/procedures for IV therapy and vascular access.
- Ensure patient is receiving the best quality of care in a safe environment. Communicate patient care information with providers as needed.
- Document appropriate data on infusion flow chart/EHR
Candidates must demonstrate competency in all skills and not limited to, venipunctures, infusion therapy, infusion therapy devices and aseptic techniques.
This position requires experience in electronic medical records (EHR)
