Our work depends on this role to maintain network, security, and Tier II Operations operations in support of the HHS mission. Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks within the Statement of Work for assigned area of responsibility. That includes: Network, Security, Mobile Operations, and Unified Communications.
Supervises ~25 employees.Will oversee the day to day operations of the NOC, Network Operations, SOC, Security Operations, Unified Communications, and Mobile Operations. Will ensure alignment with the contract Statement of Work, Service Level Agreements, and maintain mission readinessThis role will be fully responsible and accountable for all work assigned. Will implement and maintain robust monitoring solutions to ensure mission uptime and maintain overall security posture.Works in 24x7x365 environment with ability to respond and lead troubleshooting efforts for any customer impacting issues / severity events.Lead completion of Root Cause AnalysisWill review monitoring tools to identify trends and proactive identification of potential customer impacting events.Analyzing engineering designs and estimating costs to ensure they are within budget and meet project requirements.Coordinating with outside contractors, architects, engineers, and other specialists to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Recommending changes to processes or procedures to improve efficiency or reduce costs in future projects.Conducting complex technical evaluation and suggesting proposed physical architectures along with detailed designs2.Installing, configuring and maintaining applications with IT infrastructure.
