Infrastructure Engineer II
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer II to ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. The right candidate will collaborate with infrastructure staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems. The infrastructure Engineer will propose Gage the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and networks; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. This individual will provide compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems with existing infrastructure and address and resolve escalations from external departments.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
2 years' experience in network or systems administration or engineering with a strong knowledge of Windows Server Operating systems and Virtualization (HyperV preferred)
Experience supporting clustered private cloud environments and hyperconverged hypervisors (Failover clustering and / or high availability)
Demonstrated experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, firewalls
Active Directory Services experience such as GPO Management, DNS management, DHCP management, Identity and access management, Sites and Services, DFS/R
Preferred Knowledge of Public Cloud Services and Architecture such as Azure, Azure Stack HCI, AWS, OpenStack and Microsoft 365 Services
Preferred knowledge of multi-tier architectures: load balancers, proxies, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking along with experience with Configuration Management (MECM, DSC, etc.)
