Information Technology Specialist Ii- Ui Online Developer

The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in the Product Development Division (PDD) of the Information Technology Branch (ITB). The Information (IT) Technology Specialist II works as Lead Architect in EDD's Product Development Division (PDD) to plan and strategize for technical projects in support of the Unemployment Insurance Online (UIO) application. This position is also responsible for the long term and short-term implementations, maintenance and operations of the UIO application, the architecture it operates within, including but not limited to, interfaces, connecting interfaces, environments, sensitive and confidential data management. The incumbent is responsible for troubleshooting critical component and interface transactional failures. In addition, this development position supports complex technical tasks and activities for the UIO system including, but not limited to, environment support, build deployments, source code management and version control. This technical/development role also supports UI Online interfaces, such as BizTalk, SOA, Web services, SSIS, and other interfaces as required
This position is headquartered in Sacramento, CA and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
Telework may be available at your home where access to high-speed internet would be required.
Position is located at EDD's Headquarters office at 800 Capitol Mall, Sacramento, California.

Background Investigation Requirement
