Information Technology Manager
Arizona Livescan is looking for an IT manager to join our growing team! The IT Manager will support the daily operations of the company including overseeing the implementation of systems and policies, managing projects, providing technical support, and ensuring the security and efficiency of infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. Experience with biometric systems and livescan technology is preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support IT infrastructure (including hardware, software, networks, etc.) and oversee activities of staff technician(s).
- Oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Provide technical support to staff to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and security.
- Monitor systems performance and provide reports on their status to management.
- Procure equipment and software, including vendor negotiation and relationship management.
- Keep abreast of new technology trends and recommend upgrades and improvements to the IT infrastructure.
- Ensure data backups are performed regularly and test disaster recovery procedures.
- Support the training of staff on new systems and technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent.
- Five or more years proven experience as an IT Manager or within a supervisory capacity
- Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and security principles.
- Experience managing IT projects and leading a technical support team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of current technology trends especially in biometrics and livescan technology.
- Certifications in Ubiquiti, ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with FBI CJIS Security Policy, EBTS and IQS certification standards, State of Arizona ICD Standards, NIST Standards preferred.

Working Conditions:
- Office environment with regular business hours. May require after-hours work for system maintenance or emergencies.
- May require off-site travel within the state of Arizona in company vehicle
Physical Requirements:
- Primarily desk-based work with extensive use of a computer.
- May require lifting of IT equipment, not exceeding 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and an excellent driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal history background check
