Job Summary:
Natureof Job: Explores emerging technologiesthat promote maintenance and advancement of library infrastructure; Supportsfaculty, staff and student library related computer and informationaltechnology needs; Promotes customer service and collegiality as a valued teammember; Collaborates with Technical Services Librarian to ensure systemfunctionality.
Duties and Responsibilities: Primary dutiesinclude coordinating, managingand maintaining librarysystems and services,as well as library facilities; Ensures access to thelibrary's extensive range of online information resources and digital collections;Collaborates, as needed, to provide library-related training for faculty, staff, students; other relatedduties
Experience Required: Demonstrated proficiency in knowledge and understandingof a wide variety of technologies to effectivelysupport users' needs; Master'sdegree in Library and Information Sciences or substantial graduate-levelcoursework toward such a degree or equivalenteducation and related experience.
Preferred Qualification:
ALA-accredited Master's degree in Library and Information Sciences;University Library experience; Demonstrated researchactivity
