Plymouth Tube is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious team member to join our corporate IT Department. This person must lovechange, be self-motivated and inspire others inside and outside the department. Individual should be able to communicate directly and openly with all levels in our organization. There will be many opportunities for thesuccessful candidate to engage their innovative and creative problem-solving skills to help move the department to the next level. It is a must that the IT Client Support Specialist has a high degree of personal integrity in dealing with superiors, subordinates and co-workers and will represent Plymouth Tube Company in a professional manner. The successful candidate will live in both the big picture as well as in the details, desire to make an impact, and work well on a team and individually.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
This position holds primary responsibility for the day-to-day support and maintenance of the Warrenville client systems, as well as the client systems of other locations we manage. The technologies involved include Windows Active Directory, MS Office/O365, printing, and remote connectivity.
There will be a strong emphasis on providing responsive and excellent customer service, maintaining, and documenting system operations. Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills are essential.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- User administration, workstation security and client printing.
- Responsible for user hardware and software support including patch management.
- Create and maintain system image builds for all workstations company wide.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt response to all user requests.
- Provide end user training & documentation on computer/network and printer use.
- Remote user administration and support of un-staffed locations.
- IT asset management and lease schedule reconciliation.
- Various other duties as assigned.

- Attends all prerequisite training as required by management.
- Has the authority to stop process to correct quality, safety, or environmental problems, and to promptly notify Supervisory personnel when processes are non-compliant.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
· 3 or more years of “hands-on” end-user and workstation support experience:
· Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 – Configuration & troubleshooting
· Windows Network & Printing – configuration & troubleshooting
· Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point
· “Customer Service” focus; comfortable working with users at all levels
· Experience and desire to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
· Information Systems or related technology degree, or equivalent experience
