This Chief of Staff (CoS) position is a key member of the Office of the CIO (OCIO) organization and will play a strategic role in supporting senior members of CIO Staff. In this position of trust, this role provides counsel, assistance, and oversight of the organization's strategy and operational activities, including driving a cadence of disciplined and predictable execution. The CoS plays a key role in working directly with an IT Senior Leader and his/her staff to set priorities and understand gaps, and works with senior leaders across IT, Intel and the Central CoS team. The CoS is a seasoned leader who will establish a close working partnership with IT leadership, often serving as a point of contact and/or delegate on behalf of the IT segment leader for organizational activities, queries, support, and special projects. Additionally, the CoS will scale best-known-methods (BKMs) of the OCIO to the segments supported, and vice-versa.This position provides high performing, high potential professionals an opportunity for accelerated business and leadership learning with a unique assignment supporting senior IT leaders. It requires a strong knowledge of IT, Intel, strategy, products, methods, and policies. Other responsibilities: In partnership with leadership and staff, defines the strategy, vision and priorities across the organization, including OKRs.Works closely with the leadership across the organization to drive the cadence and execution of organizational priorities, including identification of operational indicators and governance model.Possess a detailed orientation and ability to gather, analyze and interpret data to drive financial plans including budget, spend, headcount allocation, and capital costs. Understands the operational aspects of the organization to identify levers and impacts to spend.Assist and influence senior management in making business decisions. Lead cross org operational processes and activities (e.g., Site Geo Strategy, Planning, Financial, Organizational, Recognition etc.), partnering with business operations team. Prepares IT Leaders for internal and external engagements and forums. Assists with content planning, research, and preparation to support meetings and executive communications.Developing agenda, content, and drive key organization forums including staff meetings/face-to-faces, operational reviews, and Quarterly Open Forums. Support and prep speakers external to the organization to ensure alignment on messaging and outcomes.Special projects with operational/business/technical program management, including cross-functional initiatives such as diversity and inclusion and employee engagement. Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and corporate policies. Drive communication and visibility of these policies as required. Ability to routinely recognize and ensure protection of confidential information, without receiving guidance.Find and use organizational resources and leverage personal networks to find answers.;The candidate must be results-oriented and capable of synthesizing and abstracting complex information into clear messages. This position requires strong analytical, project management, business partnering and influencing skills. Candidate must have experience driving cross-organizational issues and projects to resolution, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a good understanding of IT technologies and business strategies. The job is in a fast-paced environment and requires a dynamic individual to succeed. Strong visual design and storytelling skills for content/message creation are a valued asset and skill.Preferred Behavioral Skills and Experience:A high performer with a track record of significant accomplishments in a similar role.Strong technical and analytical skills, with demonstrated curiosity and attention to detail.Articulate, both verbally and in written communications, with ability to accurately and quickly up-level and scale communications to meet needs of varying audiences.Ability to see around corners, with adequate planning horizons and ability to reprioritize deliverables on behalf of IT Leaders in a seamless manner.Strong self-initiative and persistence, ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity in key areas.Very strong instincts and ability to learn organizational savvy; the assignee will be a representative of the IT Leader and therefore needs to be able to learn to closely understand organizational, team, meeting, and situational dynamics.Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret industry trends, create, and drive strategies, work independently, simultaneously manage diverse and extensive assignments while remaining organized and productive in a complex environment.Ability to handle high degrees of task and deadline pressure.Demonstrate leadership and resourcefulness across wide range of responsibility - approaching strategic as well as tactical work with intensity and ownership.Experience driving cross-organizational issues and projects to resolution, and a good understanding of Intel's products, technologies, and business strategies.Organizational Strategy, Operating Model, Strategy development and execution are also required.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or other Business related field and 9+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or other Business related field and 6+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or other Business related field and 4+ year of experience in: Prior experience in Chief of Staff (CoS) role Business operations, engineering management, or project/program management MSFT products (ex: pivot tables, macros, PowerPoint etc.). Operations impacts to finance This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting business operations or as a CoS in a matrixed organization.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the Information Technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. Working Model


This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
