RSI offers technology hosting, monitoring, management, helpdesk, disaster prevention and recovery, as well as 360° cybersecurity programs, Incident response, Security Operations (SOC) and cybersecurity consulting.
We are looking for an IT Systems Support Technician to service an RSI client in the Norwalk, CT area.
The position requires to work on-site to assist their team members.
Must be reliable, punctual and have a clean driving record. Highly motivated team player with great interpersonal skills to fit into a great office environment.
Salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and servers.
- Ensure the security of IT systems by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with the latest security trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with vendors and other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operation of IT systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end users.
Technical Requirements:
- Clear understanding of computer networks (Routers, modems, network switches, Wi-Fi, etc.).
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Computer hardware replacement and troubleshooting.
- Ability to install peripherals (Printers, scanners, etc.).
- Ability to prep IT equipment for installations
- Ideal Technical Knowledge
- Experience with network troubleshooting and network equipment.
- Experience MS Office 365
Interpersonal Requirements:
- Impeccable communication and writing skills.
- Courteously answer phones and provide IT support to clients.
- Must have a good presentation, be efficient, fast on problem-solving, creative and enjoy working with people.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel
- Highly motivated team player with great interpersonal skills to fit into a great office environment.
