- Perform duties as Client Systems Technician (CST) and ISSO for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, Joint World-Wide Communications System (JWICS), and CV2 computer and peripheral systems located within assigned unit SAP Facilities (SAPFs).
- Provide support, for monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and software Information Assurance (IA) and Information Technology (IT) problems pertaining to the assigned unit computer and network environment.
- Configure and manage enclave network environment IAW customer support policies, procedures, and standards.
- Develop and update local IA related customer support policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure all Information Systems (IS) are operated, maintained and disposed of IAW SAP directives and the System Security Plan.
- Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances, authorization, and need-to-know, and are aware of their security responsibilities before granting access to the IS.
- Ensure configuration management for security relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware is maintained and documented.
- Ensure compliance with EMSEC Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) requirements.
- Conduct audits of all classified and unclassified IS to ensure compliance with established directives.
- Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored.
- Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
- Perform Communications Security (COMSEC) Responsible Officer duties for assigned unit and maintain sub-account of SAP equipment, to include Tactical Local Area Network Encryptor (TACLANE) and Secure Telephone Equipment.
- Perform IT Equipment Custodian duties for all Supply and IT equipment accounts in assigned unit SAPF.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Security with 2 years of related experience, OR Associate degree in IT or Computer Security, and 3 years of related experience, OR 5 years of related experience with LANs, Wide Area Networks, and workstations
- IAT Level II certification IAW DoD 8140
- Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP/SAR eligibility
- NATO Secret clearance
