FTI is searching for a Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to help our continued efforts to support the Department of Air Force Rapid Capability Office (DAFRCO), the Space Rapid Capability Office (SpRCO), and the Space Development Agency (SDA). Additionally, FTI is providing critical support to the U.S. Air Force (USAF) NGAD and ABMS programs. Each of these offices are developing first-of-kind space capabilities. Successful deployment of these capabilities to the USSF and the U.S. Space Command Guardians relies on close coordination with SSC and, in many circumstances, the successful transfer of these programs to SSC for the purpose of transition from development to deployment by SSC. FTI is expanding direct support to SSC by providing subject matter expertise of this unique portfolio of capabilities and the activities required to ultimate deliver these capabilities to warfighters.

- Utilize knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity policies and procedures for government sector Information Systems and sufficient technical knowledge and experience to implement them.
- Povide hands on security and compliance guidance and work with Scrum Masters and product owners in concert with system requirements that are being developed and implmeneting cloud computing.
- This position may require priviledge access and DODM 8570.01M restrictions will apply.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 4 years’ related professional experience; Or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 2 years' related professional experience
- Must have IAT Level II
Desired skills/experience:
- Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
- Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office
For this role, the compensation range for candidates in Colorado is ($95K- $120K). Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. FTI has a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
