ABOUT THIS POSITION

Join the Inspire Information Services organization in a role that will have an impact! The Information Services (IS) Project Management Intern will work with the Director of Corporate & Operations Applications and additional IS leaders to continuously build out and improve our IS Project Management methodology, driving higher quality and predictability in our project delivery.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

• Assist in developing and continuously improving our IS Project Management methodology, including the creation and maintenance of standard templates.
• Build out operating system for Project Management meeting cadence and reporting.
• Act as a project manager in various projects within the internship timeline, including updating of project status, project plans, meeting facilitation and other project deliverables, as relevant.
• Assist in reviewing and implementing tools to build out the Project Management process.
• Gain exposure to Project Management methodologies, best practices and industry standards.
• Complete training requirements as required for this position within the required timeline. 
• Comply with applicable quality system procedures/policies and make suggestions for continuous process improvement. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational Requirements:

• 3+ years of college experience

• Required Experience:

• Experience coordinating 3+ team projects
• Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Job experience or course work in an information technology field

• Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience as a project manager
• Experience with MS Project and MS office suite
• Experience with PMO tools
• Project Management course work
