Information Security Operations Analyst

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Information Security Operations Analystto join our team in Summerville, SC.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance eligibility desired but NOT required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Loss Detection and Prevention.
• Incident response.
• Assist in the assessment of risks, threats and vulnerabilities associated with new and existing systems and business processes.
• Assist in the recommendation of internal control solutions that are proportional to risk.
• Assist in the detailed review of architectural and technical risk assessments prepared by ITRM team members as requested.
• Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements and their potential business impact from an IT security and risk management standpoint.
• Develop and maintain effective security event monitoring, controls, processes, and technologies that identify threats to Predicate Logic's infrastructure.
• Monitor established controls for known threats and anomalous activity indicating potential risk.
• Respond to all security events within the required time periodicity.
• Ensure all assigned aspects of security events are tracked to completion, and adequately resolved.
• Assist in the development, collection, and interpretation of key performance indicators and reports as to the efficacy of Predicate Logic's established controls.
• Incident Response and Investigations.
• Ability to develop automation scripts using PowerShell.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in IT security principles and best practices.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Microsoft systems administration, network monitoring, or computer and network systems.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field of Information Security.

EDUCATION:

• Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certified for Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT-II). This requires one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, CND or SSCP. Must have one of these certifications at time of hire and it must remain active or fulfilled with higher level certification.
• Highly desire a Microsoft Certification in one of the following Role Based Certification paths: Administrator or Security Engineer.
• Desire CMMC Professional Certification
• Desire a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
