Job Description

Work-Life

6 months, Hours: Full-time; Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

PositionSummary

 Students who are interested in this program will gain experience in aviation cybersecurity and data security.  Interns will be working at a large hub international airport and participating in hands on monitoring of cybersecurity systems used daily by the Information Security team.  Assignments will include:

  • Monitoring the airport's suite of cybersecurity tools for threats to airport systems.
  • Assisting with report generation and analysis including user access reports, security awareness training reports, system vulnerability reports.
  • Assisting the Information Security team with new network monitoring projects.
  • Assist with cyber incident response activities such as report writing, artifact gathering.
  • Performing IT risk assessments.
  • Performing other threat assessments.

Essential Functions

  1. Assisting the Cyber Security Operations function
  2. Report writing
  3. Vulnerability research and analysis 
  4. Special projects

Qualifications
  • College Junior or Senior
  • College students: Latest transcript required
  • (1) Letter of recommendation
  • Must pass and maintain SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) clearance.
  • *Must pass and maintain AOA (Airfield Operations Area) clearance for Operation positions.
  • Applicants aged 18 years and older must complete a medical assessment, including a drug test.

  • Works well in collaborative environments
