Information Security Analyst

Solve IT Strategies is looking for a Information Security Analyst. This role is Remote.

The Main Responsibilities of a person are:

• Update and automate vulnerability management workflows to support quality engagement on automated findings
• Build or enhance new services or tools to support vulnerability management
• Ensure timely resolution and engagement on vulnerability identification, remediation, triage, validation, and verification
• Establish automated integrations between asset inventory data and vulnerability data
• Provide reporting on key metrics for vulnerability management

What we look for in you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in engineering and automation
• Expertise in Vulnerability Management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical security requirements and risks into terms that anyone can understand
• Ability to work independently and unblock yourself

Nice to haves:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Prior experience in software development with an emphasis on security
• Familiarity with programming languages and knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience in at least one of: Java, Go, Ruby or Python
• Experience designing, implementing and deploying production-level services
• Experience automating manual processes
• Experience in Jira

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
