Information and Referral Counselors report to AIHS's Aging & Disability Resource Center. In this role, IR's perform all activities related to information and referral servicesto achieve program goals at AIHS's main office and at clients’ residences. One of the responsibilities of an IRC is to serve as an advocatefor the client population.
Required Education and Experience
Associate degree in social work, or related field and two years of experience and/or additional education in social work or related field. High school diploma, or general education degree (GED) and four years of related experience and/or training in healthcare and/or customer service position utilizing advanced technology tools including customized software systems.
