Summary/Objective:
The Infographics/Graphics Designer will develop creative and often highly technical infographics and media for intelligence production. This role will support software development and systems engineering for intelligence and combat systems, at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.
The Infographics/Graphics Designer will develop creative and often highly technical infographics and media for intelligence production. This role will support software development and systems engineering for intelligence and combat systems, at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce graphic art and visual materials for intelligence production and reporting through a variety of media platforms such as infographics and animations.
- Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs.
- Produce 2D and 3D graphics and models of various information and weapons systems to compliment intelligence information.
- Generate web-based products to provide interactive products that showcase important data aspects to communicate complicated technical information to a diverse audience.
Required Education and/or Experience:
- Must have an active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- High School graduate.
- Two plus (2+) years’ experience producing multimedia projects.
- Must have the skills and expertise to conceptualize, design, and produce creative, informative, and insightful Infographics.
- Tech savvy and capable of working with engineering and analytic teams.
- Willing to rapidly learn about new technologies and provide various options as a means of displaying systems and information derived from intelligence tradecraft.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to define project requirements clearly, conduct interim reviews as products mature, and present final products to customer representatives.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in art, design, film, photography, or related field highly desired.
- Ability to produce 2D and 3D graphics and models of various information and weapons systems to compliment intelligence products.
- General understanding of foreign military air, space, and missile systems is highly desired.
- Experience with one or more of the following graphics tools and data analysis tools/languages: Tableau, ArcGIS, ArcPRO, Python, JavaScript, JEMA, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Create Suite, Maya, DS Max, ZBrush, SketchUp, Unreal Engin, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Three.js, D3.js.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.
Travel:
Very little – less 5%.
