Information Security and Risk is looking for an Info Security Analyst I, to join the Principal Asset Management (Principal AM) Security Team. The Principal AM security staff serve as a liaison between the asset management businesses and the information security and risk department supporting our IT engineering teams around the world. The team also works with many external entities including customers, regulators, vendors, etc.
This role will work with the Principal AM Business Information Security Officer. This is an opportunity for someone who interested in a fast-paced environment combating real-world problems! This includes exposure to all aspects of security (such as: incident management, customer security inquiries, regulations, audit, access control, data loss prevention, secure software, and more).

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range
$57000 - $96000 / year

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), in the Des Moines, IA, area. You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.

- Work directly or in support of Principal AM use in providing insights that address business needs. Providing a risk lens and technical skill to consulting, education and partnership to a variety of audiences in support of overall ecosystem.
- Help ensure Principal AM has the right risk governance around platforms and processes as well as individual solutions.
- Own, maintain and deliver actionable data insights aligned to Security and Risk using excel and visualization tools to develop vital dashboards (i.e. Power BI).
- Remain current on security and general technology standard methodologies in the industry by continually growing your knowledge.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as the need arises.

Who You Are
- Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience).
- Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving and prioritization skills.
- Basic knowledge of financial services products preferred.
- Compliance, governance or other security related skills preferred.
- Must be able to effectively communicate routine to moderately sophisticated security related information including plans, strategies, and designs.
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Knowledge and direct experience using Excel and business intelligence reporting tools such as Power BI to prioritize, maintain and present key insights to partners across Principal AM.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Power BI - Crafting Dashboards.
- CISSP/CISM/CCSP certifications or equivalent preferred.
- Understanding of cyber security concepts.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and including CI/CD.
- Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, OWASP Top 10, and OWASP ASVS.
- Cloud/AWS Experience preferred.
