Infection Preventionist/Staff Development Rn

Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including training, and evaluating performance
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
- Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal care
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in complex patient cases
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, changes, and expectations
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Proven experience in nurse management or leadership position
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and standards
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Experience with patient assessment and care planning
- Familiarity with utilization management principles
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- IV insertion
- Specimen collection processing
- Dementia care
