Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as an Infection Prevention Managerin Mount Vernon, WA. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to champion safety in healthcare by leading Infection Prevention programs to safeguard the well-being of our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and meticulously maintain Infection Prevention plans to uphold the highest standards of safety.
• Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to the Infection Prevention team to ensure proficiency and excellence.
• Analyze infection data meticulously and implement proactive measures to prevent and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate closely with the Infection Disease team to refine and enhance policies and protocols.
• Conduct thorough investigations and meticulously report on nosocomial infections, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Infection Prevention is essential.
• Active RN licensure is required, with preference given to those with Washington RN licensure.
• Certification in Infection Control is mandatory to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Salary: $113,500.00 - $156,000.00 per year
