SalaryDuties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for infant and toddler students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and communicate with parents/guardians regularly
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Assist with mealtime, naptime, and bathroom routines
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior
- Must be able to physically lift children and get down on the floor to play
Skills:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting, such as babysitting or nannying isn't required but a plus
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured and engaging learning environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors with care
- Creativity in designing educational activities that are both fun and educational

Note:
-A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required.
-Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, TB test, physical, and become CPR/First Aid certified if not already within the past year.
-Full time (40 hours/week) and Part time positions available. Afternoon hours (12-5:30, 1-5:30) are our need, but we are flexible in working with morning part time hours.
-Starting pay is $11.00 an hour but could be more depending on education and experience in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or related field.
