Job DescriptionThis position is an entry-level position. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
- Must have HS Diploma or GED
- Must have Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to work weekly rotating shifts (MAD)
- Able to work overtime as necessary
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to communicate with management and co-workers and work as a team
- Ability to work in an underground mining environment
- Must be able to pass a background check, physical, drug screen, and functional work screening
Essential Functions:
- Ability to lift to 100 pounds
- Build cribs
- Set posts
- Build bridges
- Supply miner and bolter
- Assist with belt moves
- Assist with load center moves
- Extend waterlines
- Unload supplies
- Clean spillage of coal
- Other general laborer duties as necessary
