Job Summary:
Responsible to operate all cutting machinery, spread and cut fabric to the proper specification and ensure the upmost quality while cutting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operates the cutting machine in accordance with our procedures, to determine pattern pieces, layout and fabric cuts.
- Opera machines to cut multiple layers of fabric
- Study guides, samples and specification forms to determine set-up requirements.
- Program electronic equipment
- Examines final product to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
- Maintains safety awareness in, and around work areas and report potential areas of concern
- Maintain high quality standards, as required
- Performs other duties as required or as instructed.Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand all day and move hands constantly
- Must be able to have good visual skills.
- Light lifting, pushing/pulling are required
- Work near moving parts and high temperatures.
- Occasional overtime are required.
