Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver position. The Industrial Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performs pre-trip inspection of truck
- Loads and unloads freight and accurately fills out truck manifest
- Accurately fills out gas invoices
- Take basic orders from customers when needed
- Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
- No at fault accidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (writing invoices, picking up small cylinders, rolling large cylinders, pushing cylinder cart, hand trucks, steering truck, etc.)
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry objects weighing over 100 lbs
- Ability to work safely around special hazards (i.e. mechanical - operating lift gate, and explosives - haul and work around flammable gas and non-flammable gas)
- Basic understanding of which applications are used for different gases
- Basic understanding of welding machines and related tools
