NOW HIRING - 3rd SHIFT MECHANIC

HOURS: 11PM - 7AM

PAY RANGE:$22.49-26.19 + $2.00 shift differential

Overview

Carry out all maintenance duties essential to the efficient functioning of all equipment in the plant. Repair and sustain plant equipment in compliance with building plans and building regulations

Criteria

High school diploma or GED

Experience:

Around two to three years of trade school, vocational education, three year’s work experience, or apprenticeship

Physical Requirements:

The employee must:

1. Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor

2. Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or

3. Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently

4. Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Visual acuity:

Near acuity (16/20 where necessary) and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, drawings and precision measuring instruments used in the manufacturing of parts

Hearing ability:

Recognize audible communication and equipment sounds

Conditions

The employee is exposed to:

1. High noise levels from operating machines

2. Physical dangers from moving machinery and machine parts

3. Inhaling fumes, dust and mist

4. Skin exposure to oils and cutting fluids

The employee may be asked to follow other job related instructions and to carry out other job related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.

You should be competent in:

• Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans
• Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
• Hydraulics Experience
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Salary info:

$22.49 - $26.19 / hr
