Industrial Mechanic

We are seeking an Industrial Mechanical And Electrical Technician to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of electrical equipment and machines such as LLDPE blown film extruders and bag making machines. English or Spanish speakers are accepted. 40 Hours per week Monday - Friday. Overtime when needed for emergency repair. 24 hour 7 day facility.

Responsibilities:

• Install and modify electrical machinery, equipment in blown film and converting
• Diagnose cause of electrical or machine malfunctions
• Know how to adjust machine timing.
• Repair or replace chains, sprockets, gears, program drives, AC/DC motors, servo's and steppers, solid state devices and mechanical relays.
• Basics of Lathe and welding.
• Collaborate with engineers or vendors to solve developmental problems
• Pnuematics and hydraulics devices.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, greasing and cleaning of components as required.
• Ensure all electrical and mechanical components adhere to standards

Qualifications:

• Previous 3 years experience in industrial equipment
• Familiarity with electrical schematics
• Excellent root cause analysis skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Deadline and detail-oriented
