Summary:

Horizon Ag Products is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to work in our dry manufacturing facility located in Union City, Oklahoma. This hands-on position requires skills in one or more of the following areas: welding, fabrication, machine tools, facilities maintenance, conveyance systems, pumps, hoses and water transfer systems, general electrical, and compressed air systems. The ideal candidate will have five years' experience and a technical Industrial Maintenance certificate and be willing to work 2nd shift and be available for call-in during off hours and weekends. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be accountable for the safe maintenance, repair and/or replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure production quality and quantity objectives are met in accordance with the company’s standards.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment and facilities.
• Install new machinery and processes.
• Executes daily work orders.
• Troubleshoots equipment and systems.
• Suggests upgrades and process improvements to improve uptime and reduce MTBF.
• Coordinate and work with other maintenance team members.
• Works with external contractors and service providers.
• Assists with the planning and implementation of plant improvements, expansions, and capital projects.
• Coordinates activities with Plant Operations Departments.
• Team player and willing to assist with Plant Operations when required.
• 50 pound lifting capability.
• Comfortable working in a harness at heights.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5 years of maintenance experience and technical Industrial Maintenance certificate
• Strong knowledge of maintaining manufacturing equipment in one of these areas: electrical motors and VFD’s, gearboxes, bearings & seals, compressed air systems (compressors & dryers), pumps (centrifugal, air diaphragm, hydraulic), PLC/HMI controls, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics.
• Experience working in batch or continuous operated plants with liquid and solids handling.

Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly, paid bi-weekly, benefits eligible

Shifts: 12 Hour Shifts, 4 days per week Holidays included. Overtime may be required.
