We are currently seeking an accomplished Industrial Maintenance Technician I eager to take on a dynamic role, showcasing expertise in leadership, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and seamless operation of our equipment and facilities.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-5:00pm (on call as needed)
Job Responsibilities:
Electrical:
- Ability to Work on & Wire 208 & 480V Single & Three Phase Systems
- Ability to trouble shoot & fix complex machines & overhead crane wiring.
- Forklift Repair – 12V & 24V systems
- Demonstrate expertise in quantifying electrical resistance.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC) nomenclature.
- Proficiency in discerning the maximum permissible wattage on a 110-volt circuit equipped with a 20-ampere breaker.
- Convey a deep understanding of Class 1 Division 1 electrical systems.
Mechanical:
- Understanding of abrasive blasting systems repair and maintenance.
- Maintain routine maintenance for all company equipment.
- Ability to work on and fix gas & diesel motors.
- Proficient in electric motor repair
- Understanding and ability to fix CNC machines i.e. press brakes, shears, & cutting tables.
Pneumatic and Hydraulic:
- Differentiate between the operational mechanics of Rotary and Reciprocating compressors and understand how to maintain each system.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic lifting systems & the ability to fix and maintain them.
- Ability to thread and run pipe.
Leadership Skills:
- Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to mentor and train junior technicians, ensuring the continuous development of the maintenance team.
- Proven track record of effective decision-making and problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
Additional Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or its educational equivalent preferred.
- Relevant technical certifications or successful completion of a comprehensive trade school program, a plus.
- Osha-10 certified preferred.
- Experience with Industrial Preventative Maintenance & Scheduling
- Excellent communication skills and a proclivity for collaborative teamwork.
- A willingness to accommodate flexible work hours as necessitated by operational demands, including being on call.
- Commitment to upholding safety protocols and exemplifying ethical conduct.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Sound understanding of maintenance techniques, tools, and principles.
- Proficient in the use of maintenance management software, computer systems, and MS Office applications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
