Industrial Maintenance Manager -- 2Nd Shift

OVERVIEW:

Leading and coordinating the repair, maintenance, and installation of various machines, tools, and equipment is the primary responsibility of this position. This can be done by directly performing the duties or by delegating to subordinates.

CRUCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

These are the main roles and duties; others may be assigned.

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to work safely at all times.

• Use the necessary PPE.

• As an animal food plant's food safety qualified individual, comply with all FDA regulations for cGMPs and job-specific responsibilities to mitigate the risk of all known or reasonably foreseeable food safety hazards.

• Conform to 6S Standards (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).

• Determine work priorities by reviewing job orders.

• Ensure continuous production operations by scheduling the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.

• Collaborate with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to address maintenance issues and suggest measures to improve machines and equipment's operation and conditions.

• Promote the use of the STOP program to support safety goals within the department.

• Discover and execute ways to improve machine performance and preventative maintenance.

• Encourage Technicians to identify process improvements and support their objectives.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

Supervise up to 4 Maintenance Technicians directly. Carry out supervisory tasks in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include training staff, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving issues.

Basic Microsoft Office competencies are a plus.

Working hours are from Monday to Wednesday, from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am, and on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Salary info:

$25 - $35 / hr
