Job Description: As an Electrician at [Company Name], you will be responsible for electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will work with a team to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: The Manufacturing Electrician is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment in a high-paced production stamping environment. Your duties will include:
- Making advanced repairs and adjustments to electrical devices as well as basic mechanical repairs as necessary.
- Performing advanced preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned.
- Successfully troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
- Entering data into the maintenance system timely and accurately.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Initiating and installing improvement projects.
- Performing basic failure root cause investigation.
- Modifying PLC and HMI programming.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Experience with punch presses, annealing ovens, die casting, and slitting equipment preferred
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality practices
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment
- Familiarity with PLCs, including programming and troubleshooting with RS Logic 500
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
- Experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic equipment
- Familiarity with ladder logic and digital multimeters
